DELIVERY AND RETURNS



▲ Postal Methods and Delivery Times

Once you have made a purchase, we will ship it as soon as we can, usually within 24 to 48 hours, however you should allow up to 14 days for delivery. If you have not received your item 14 days from order, please check our website for details on shipping delays or contact us.

Items will be sent First Class Recorded Delivery within in the UK and First Class Air Mail internationally. For guidelines on shipping times, please see here. Proof of postage is retained. Please be aware that in the event of a non-delivered item, we must wait for 21 days from date of dispatch before the Royal Mail can investigate it as a lost item. If you require Special Delivery please order that from the Delivery Options section of the website along with your order.

Recorded Delivery only allows us to confirm delivery when it is signed for. It does not provide any en-route tracking information. We shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise from not receiving the order on a specified day.


▲ Shipping Address

It is your responsibility to provide your details correctly. We are not responsible for missing items if you provided an incorrect address. Please check your address carefully!


▲ International Shipping

We do ship internationally. We are still getting this aspect of the shop up and running, so in the meantime, please contact us if you live outside the UK and wish to make a purchase.

You are responsible for all duties/customs fees that are incurred on a package. The customs form will state the accurate value of the items included and will be marked “other.”


▲ Returns and exchanges

We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us, but we realise that on occasion you may want to return or exchange items. If you wish to return your item for any reason, please first get in touch stating your invoice number to laura@curiosityhaus.co.uk

After we have confirmed a refund or exchange for your item you can return within 14 days of receiving it.
Simply follow the steps below:

1) Email us laura@curiosityhaus.co.uk to arrange your return
2) Complete the returns form supplied with your delivery
3) We ask that you return the items unused, with all the original tags intact
4) Securely package your item as we cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in the post. Items are the customers responsibility until they are received by us.
5) We recommend returning the item by registered delivery to the address as stated on your returns form.


We will process any refunds, repairs or exchanges within 7 days of us receiving the returned items.
Refunds shall be paid back to the original method of payment.

Please note, we only refund postage for faulty items.




TERMS AND CONDITIONS


▲ Products

While we endeavour to portray items accurately, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow. Please be aware that all our products are handmade, we ask our customers to appreciate that small variations should be welcomed, as this is what makes your purchase truly unique!

Because each item is handmade or personalised, then we cannot make a refund for an item that is simply not wanted. Where an item has a major defect and is returned, we will cover your postage costs to return the item to us. Items with major defects must be highlighted to us within 7 days of receipt or we cannot accept returns.


▲ Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible by phone or email if the goods you have ordered are not available.

We won’t sell information about you or your purchases to anyone else. If you make a purchase, then we will add you to our mailing list. If you don’t want to be on our mailing list, then tell us and we will take you off it.

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. We shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

Please note that once you make a purchase, you have entered into a legally binding contract with us. We say this for your protection as well as for ours. By making your purchase, then you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions – if you have any queries, then please make them known before you make your purchase.
